Privacy Policy

At Simpleasyty, we believe privacy should be as simple and clear as the products we build. Our apps can store customer-provided personal data within Atlassian’s infrastructure.

Customer-provided metadata and table content may contain personal information, such as names, email addresses or other contact details. Storing this content is storage of personal data even when it was entered by a customer rather than populated from an Atlassian profile. Storage within Atlassian-hosted infrastructure does not mean that the content is sent to or stored in a Simpleasyty-operated external backend.

Simple Metadata uses Forge SQL/KVS and retains historical metadata values for 90 days. Atlassian user references are stored as accountIds; display names and avatars are retrieved from Atlassian at runtime rather than persisted separately as profile data. Simple Tables stores customer-provided content using Page Content, Attachment or Atlassian Store (Forge Storage), depending on the configured storage method.

All apps developed by Simpleasyty run on Atlassian — operating entirely within Atlassian’s secure cloud infrastructure. Built using Forge Native, they adhere to Atlassian’s security and compliance standards.Customer data is not transmitted outside Atlassian by default as part of the app’s core functionality.

We only process customer content as required to deliver the app’s functionality, and always within Atlassian’s infrastructure. To improve our products and understand how features are used, we collect anonymous usage events (e.g., macro rendered, feature enabled) via Amplitude Analytics. These events do not include personal data such as names, email addresses, or account identifiers, and are not intended to identify individual users or customers. Data is processed and stored in the EU region to comply with relevant privacy regulations.

Simpleasyty is committed to privacy by design and aims to meet relevant data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
