GETTING STARTED
Introduction
Simple Tables turns data and existing Confluence tables into interactive tables on the page. Explore the data with search, filters, sorting, and grouping while keeping the work in Confluence.
Runs on Atlassian
Simpleasyty develops the app, while Atlassian provides the compute and storage infrastructure and checks eligibility for the Runs on Atlassian badge. Its requirements cover data residency and control over external data egress. Simple Tables displays this badge on its Atlassian Marketplace listing. Its core features need no separate Simpleasyty database and do not send customer data to external services.
Why structured data matters
Information in Confluence tables can be hard to find and analyze. Simple Tables makes it useful on the page with search, filters, sorting, and grouping. You can also format columns, calculate values, and show summaries.
Where the data comes from
Paste CSV or JSON, import a CSV, JSON, or Excel file, use a page attachment, or display Confluence content such as Page Properties. You can also make an existing native Confluence table interactive without moving it.
Where the data is stored
Static tables have three storage options: inside the macro on the Confluence page, as a page attachment, or separately from page content in Atlassian Store (Forge). With Atlassian Store, the table rows do not have to be stored in the page. The site administrator decides which options editors can use and which one is the default. Native tables and live views continue to use their Confluence source.
