Use a page attachment

Create a table from a CSV, JSON, or Excel file already attached to the current Confluence page. The file stays where your team manages it alongside the page.

SIMPLE TABLE MACRO

Choose an attachment and open it as a table

Simple Tables lists the files attached to the page directly in the Data tab. Choose the right file, then continue to a preview or straight to table setup.

Choose From page attachment

Add the Simple Table macro to the page. Open the Data tab and select From page attachment.

Select the file

Choose a CSV, JSON, XLS, or XLSX file from the attachments listed for this page.

Review and set up the table

For CSV and JSON, you can turn on a file preview before continuing. Excel files open table setup directly; review the columns and display before you save or publish.
