Jira IssuesVery soon

Turn a Jira search into a live, interactive table in Confluence. The integration is built, but it cannot be made available while Simple Tables is distributed as a free Marketplace app.

SIMPLE TABLE MACRO

JIRA WORK, IN THE CONTEXT OF YOUR TEAM’S PAGES.

A live Jira view, configured with JQL.

Choose the work that belongs in the table, select the Jira fields readers need, and keep the view connected to the current issue data.

Search with JQL

Use simple filters for project, assignee, issue type, status, or text — or write a full JQL query.

Choose useful fields

The planned source includes key, summary, status, priority, assignee, reporter, project, issue type, and dates.

Respect Jira access

Each reader would see only the Jira work items they are already allowed to access.

Why it is not available yet

The Jira integration is complete in Simple Tables, including the connection flow through Atlassian Administration. Atlassian’s Marketplace rules require the app to be paid before this cross-product Jira connection can be offered. Simple Tables is currently a free app, so the integration remains unavailable to customers.

What the integration is ready to do

  • Start with a basic Jira search, or switch to advanced JQL when the worklist needs more precise logic.
  • Return from 1 to 1,000 issues and choose the columns that belong in the published table.
  • Use an administrator-managed Jira connection in Atlassian Administration. No Jira API token or separate Simple Tables app is needed.
  • Run the saved JQL again when the table loads, so the view can reflect the current Jira issues that each reader may access.
