Paste CSV or JSON data
Paste prepared CSV or JSON directly into the Simple Table macro. It is the quickest route from an export or spreadsheet to an editable table in Confluence.
SIMPLE TABLE MACRO
Paste and validate your data
The editor checks the pasted content as a table and immediately shows how many rows and columns it found. Once the structure looks right, move to the preview to set up the table.
Choose Paste CSV or JSON
Add the Simple Table macro to a Confluence page. Open the Data tab and select Paste CSV or JSON.
Paste your data
Copy CSV or JSON into the editor. Below the input, you can see whether it has been detected as a table, including the rows and columns found.
Open the preview
Choose Preview table. Check the columns and display, then save or publish the page when everything looks right.
TIP
For CSV, the first row becomes your column headings. Give those fields clear names before you paste the content.
