ADD DATA

Paste CSV or JSON data

Paste prepared CSV or JSON directly into the Simple Table macro. It is the quickest route from an export or spreadsheet to an editable table in Confluence.

Paste and validate your data

Preview your table alongside the CSV or JSON editor. The sample updates after a short pause as you edit; the counter shows the total detected rows and columns.

    Choose Paste JSON or CSV

    Add the Simple Table macro to a Confluence page. In the Data tab, choose Paste JSON or CSV.

    Paste and inspect

    Paste your data on the left. The preview shows up to five rows; all detected rows are retained for configuration. Long lines scroll inside the editor without covering the preview.

    Configure the table

    Choose Configure table once data is detected. Adjust the columns and appearance, then save or publish the page. Use Edit data in table settings to return to the editor.

Tip

For CSV, the first row becomes your column headings. An empty editor waits for input; if the data cannot be read, check its CSV or JSON format.
