Upload a file

Create a table from a CSV, JSON, or Excel file on your computer. Use this route when the file is not yet attached to the current Confluence page.

SIMPLE TABLE MACRO

Choose a file and set up the table

Uploading brings the file into the Simple Tables setup flow. Choose the file, review its contents when useful, then configure the columns you will publish.

Choose Browse files

Add the Simple Table macro to a Confluence page. Open the Data tab and select Browse files.

Select your local file

Choose a CSV, JSON, XLS, or XLSX file from your computer.

Review and set up the table

For CSV and JSON, you can turn on Preview file content before continuing. Excel files open table setup directly; review the columns and display before you save or publish.
