Install Simple Tables

This guide explains how to install Simple Tables from the Atlassian Marketplace into your Confluence Cloud instance.

Simple Tables runs entirely on Atlassian Forge, with no data egress as part of its core functionality. No additional infrastructure or data approvals are required during installation.

1. Prerequisites

To install Simple Tables, you will need administrator permissions in your Confluence Cloud instance. Please ensure you are logged in with an account that has these permissions.

2. How to find Simple Tables

You can install Simple Tables either from the Atlassian Marketplace or directly from your Confluence instance.

From your Atlassian Cloud instance

  1. Log in to your Confluence Cloud instance.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the Settings icon (gear ⚙️).
  3. Select Manage apps or Find new apps.
  4. In the Marketplace search bar, type Simple Tables and press Enter.

3. Install the app

Once you have located Simple Tables, follow these steps to complete the installation:

  1. In the search results, select Simple Tables (by Simpleasyty).
  2. Click the Get it now button on the app listing.
  3. If you have multiple Atlassian Cloud instances, choose the instance where you want to install the app.
  4. Review the requested permissions and click Accept and install.

Installation usually takes less than a minute. Once finished, you will see a confirmation message.

4. Getting started

Simple Tables is now installed in your Atlassian Cloud instance. You can start using it in your pages right away.

In Confluence

To create your first table, edit any Confluence page, type /Simple Table, and select the macro.

If you don’t see the macro immediately, refresh the page or wait a few seconds for the installation to complete.
