Quick Start

Embed an interactive data table into any Confluence Cloud page in under 10 seconds—no extra setup required. You can use:

  • The Simple Table macro to import external data (CSV, JSON, Excel) and render it as an interactive table.
  • The Simple Table bodied macro to wrap a native Confluence table and unlock full Simple Table features.

Using Simple Table macro (import)

  1. Edit the Confluence page where you want the table.
  2. Insert the Simple Table macro via the “+” menu.
  3. In the macro editor, paste comma‑ or tab‑separated data (CSV):
    Region,Month,Sales
    Kanto,2024-05,32500
    Kansai,2024-05,27400
    Tohoku,2024‑05,14600
    Chubu,2024‑05,19950
    Kyushu,2024‑05,17120
  4. Click Next to preview and confirm.
  5. Save the macro and then publish the page.

Using Simple Table bodied macro (native Confluence table)

  1. Edit the Confluence page and create a native Confluence table.
  2. Wrap the table using the Simple Table bodied macro.
  3. In preview or view mode, configure sorting, filtering, export, etc.
  4. Publish the page to see the fully interactive table.
