No Data Egress

Simple Tables is built on Atlassian Forge and ensures no data egress as part of its core functionality — customer data is not transmitted or stored outside Atlassian’s infrastructure. All processing and storage happen securely within Atlassian’s environment.

This architecture aligns with enterprise security requirements and reduces the need for additional data processing approvals.

Why it matters

By avoiding external data egress, Simple Tables helps support internal security policies, privacy requirements, and data handling expectations. Forge blocks external data egress by default, making privacy and data residency the default setup.

How it works

  • All table imports, edits, and attachments are handled within the Atlassian environment using Forge storage.
  • No data is sent to external servers as part of the app’s core functionality — Forge’s sandbox architecture enforces this by default.
  • No external domains are contacted unless explicitly permitted in the app manifest.
