FIELD TYPES

Email fields

v2.1.0+

Collect a validated email address.

When to use it

Use Email for a contact address rather than a general text field. The capture form provides an email input and validates its format.

Configure the field

Set a label, description, optional required flag and, if helpful, a static default address. The value is saved as a string.

Example

See how this field can appear in a real schema.

  • Escalation contactteam@example.com
    Email

Important behaviour

Email is an address, not a Confluence person reference. Use Confluence reference → Person when you need to select a user.
