FIELD TYPES

Single choice fields

v2.1.0+

Choose one value from a defined list.

When to use it

Use Single choice for status, category or priority when every author should choose from the same options.

Configure the field

Add unique choices, assign their colours, and choose Pill, Colored text, Simple or Raw display. A default can select one choice. Index the field for choice filters in reports.

Example

See how this field can appear in a real schema.

  • Review statusDraft · In review · Approved
    Single choice

Important behaviour

The field stores one string value. Changing or removing a choice can affect existing metadata; review the schema change impact before saving.
