CONFIGURE COLUMNS

Rename a column heading

Replace an unclear column name with a label your readers understand.

Change the heading

Edit the visible name in the column settings and check it in the preview.

    Open Columns

    Edit the Simple Table macro and select the Columns tab.

    Edit Header

    Open the column you want to rename. In Column details, replace the text in the Header field.

  3. 3

    Check and save

    Confirm the new heading in the table preview, then save the macro.

A clearer name

An imported file has a heading that makes sense to its creator but not to the team.

What stays the same

Changing Header updates the label shown in this table. It does not rename the original source field or change the values, filters or calculations that use the column.
